Here at Game On Chiropractic we value our patients. We acknowledge that going to a new place for the first time can be nerve racking. We think of our patients as part of our extended family, and we are excited to meet you!

If you have any questions regarding your first visit, please don’t hesitate to call/text our downtown Orlando healthcare clinic at (407) 588-8444.

What to expect the first time you visit the office:

The initial visit will begin with a complimentary consultation and review of your current complaint(s). If I determine that I am able to help with your condition, I will proceed with my examination. This may include orthopedic, neurological, and range-of-motion evaluations. If I determine that I am not the right person to help with your particular issue, I can refer you to the appropriate healthcare professional who can.

After performing a focused examination to help establish a diagnosis, we can then review treatment options and begin care. Treatment options may include:

  • Chiropractic adjustment/manipulation
  • Spinal decompression
  • Joint mobilization
  • Vibration massage therapy
  • Heat therapy
  • Therapeutic ultrasound
  • Electrical muscle stimulation
  • Soft-tissue work (myofascial release and trigger point therapy)
  • Assisted stretching
  • Exercise/rehab prescription
  • Postural and ergonomics assessment and recommendations

I highly value patient feedback and intend for you to be happy with the care received in my office. So I welcome any questions and comments during and after the treatment process. In order to confirm that treatment has been effective, we will frequently reassess any pain and dysfunction you may be feeling and monitor improvement as we get you back to feeling well again!

Depending on the complexity of your case, you can expect the New Patient visit to take between 30 minutes to an hour.

What to expect on follow-up visits:

Any subsequent visits will take approximately 20-30 minutes. After providing me with any updates on your condition, we can immediately continue with treatment since the comprehensive exam has already been performed on the initial visit. Please do feel free to mention any new complaints that may have arisen since your last visit or that you may have forgotten to bring to my attention. I want to make sure any healthcare concerns you have are taken care of!

Follow-up visits may not even be necessary if the original complaint was of minor severity. But more complex cases may take at least 3-5 visits before you experience significant improvement. This is typical for common musculoskeletal conditions. Just like seeing results at the gym requires more than 1 visit, the body tends to respond best to consecutive treatments. One of the best ways to minimize your need for additional office visits is to be compliant with the home exercise program I will be giving you.

Chronic conditions, that you have been experiencing for several months to many years, will unfortunately take more time to treat and heal. That’s why it’s always best to seek care sooner rather than later, whenever you are dealing with musculoskeletal issues that aren’t resolving on their own. Ideally we would want to treat a problem while it is still acute, occurring within the past month, before it has a chance to become a chronic and more long-term issue. Similarly, it’s beneficial to stick to a care plan until your problem is fully resolved, so that it doesn’t reoccur again any time soon.

In addition to addressing specific acute and chronic complaints, I often see patients who are interested in maintaining their health with routine wellness and preventative care.

Expected Outcomes:

After continued treatment in my office and being consistent with the home exercise program you can expect to:

  • Experience pain relief and reduced muscle tension throughout the body, including the back, neck, or extremities
  • Have increased functional movement (for example, after treatment my patients have reported being able to stand up taller, bend forward better to reach their shoes, or turn their head easier to look over their shoulder)
  • Get back to your normal activities of daily living (ADLs) and pick up where you left off prior to having the current pain or dysfunction
  • Have better sitting and standing posture
  • Have a better understanding of seated ergonomics
  • Have increased blood circulation throughout the body along with a corresponding increase in energy levels (due to in-office assisted stretching and at-home active stretching)
  • Feel good about your body and potentially be able to do things you haven’t been able to do in a long time
  • Continue to be able to do the things you want and need to do to enjoy life, for as long as reasonably possible

These are the goals that I will be working towards in my treatments, but please do let me know if there are specific goals that you have in mind for yourself. Maybe you want to be able to run a 5K race or even a full marathon? Maybe you just want to be able to walk in one? Maybe you want to be able to sit on your chair or couch and play video games all day without wrist and back pain? If you have a specific goal that you want to achieve, I will be tailoring my treatments to help you reach it.

Convenient Location:

Game On Chiropractic is located within the Orlando Game Space office building, right across the street from Lake Eola in downtown Orlando. Free parking is available for patients anywhere in the lot north of the building, reserved for Orlando Game Space visitors. Free street parking is also available. Please use the doorbell to gain access to the building.

Flexible Hours:

My office is typically open from 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. If these hours work for you, please feel free to conveniently schedule yourself using the online Appointments page.

I’m also happy to see patients outside my regular hours as needed. If you would like to schedule an appointment before 9am or after 6pm Monday through Friday, or would like to request a Saturday office visit, please do so by calling or texting us at (407) 588-8444 or leaving a message on our Contact page.

Transparent Pricing and Personalized Care:

I charge a flat fee of $55 per visit. There will never be any surprise bills or additional charges. I accept cash, debit/credit cards, as well as FSA/HSA accounts and payment is appreciated at the end of the visit.

Since I don’t process insurance, I am able to save time that would otherwise be wasted billing and submitting claims to insurance companies. This allows me to spend more time treating each patient as well as giving me extra time to take much more detailed notes about everything you tell me about your health. That’s the kind of paperwork I don’t mind doing! Rather than spending time trying to figure out how to make the insurance companies happy, I spend more time ensuring that YOU are happy with your care.
